Who We Are:

• The Littleton Education Association (LEA) is a local affiliate of the National Education Association (NEA)
• We advocate for the interests of teachers in Littleton Public Schools in Littleton, Colorado.
• We are over 700 members strong.

 Our Values:

• We believe every child has the right to a free and high quality education by highly trained and certificated teachers in a safe and caring environment.
• We believe the best educational policies and practices are developed only when practicing teachers have a significant role in their development.

 What we do:

• We are the vehicle for the teachers of Littleton Public Schools for effective communication with educational policy makers.
• We advocate for continuous improvement of teachers’ environment and the continued security of the highest quality public education.

 How we do it:

• We are a powerful and viable organization because of the strength and integrity of our membership.
• We accomplish our goals through honest and frank communication between members and the educational community and through the democratic process within the LEA.
